EGR Baffle for 04-08 Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep with 5.7L Hemi.
These baffles are used to restrict the Hot Air Flow to the intake manifold, which on most Cold Air Intakes causes a resonating ticking noise to occur. The baffle allows the right amount of air to flow thru the EGR Valve and into the intake manifold so as not to cause a CEL to be thrown (engine light), and gets rid of the ticking noise resonating off the Cold Air Intake. Another positive note is - you are NO longer injecting as much HOT air into your Cold Air Intake, so even if you don't have the ticking from a Cold Air Intake, you can also benefit from the baffle.
